Maryland - Florida / ICW

Yesterday we arrived  in Lake Worth / Palm Beach. After sailing in frosty conditions in Maryland , Virginia, North and South Carolina could we feel the climate change in Georgia. Finally it feels like summer again! We were very lucky with the dry conditions on our 865nm ICW Trip. Not much rain, but wind from every corner and in various strength.
The trip was so different but we enjoyed it very much. People we met were so friendly and helpful. Thanks to all of you!
The nature is amazing. The fragrance of the Pine and Cedar woods, the wildlife with its Eagles, Ospreys, Dolphins, Manatees, Pink Flamingos, Pelicans and Turtles is just awesome!
Now we are preparing Peter Pan for our next big step. With the next weather window we going to sail to The Bahamas. How exciting!
We wish you a merry x-mas and a prosperous new year!

USA- Rhode Island to Maryland

In the past 11 weeks after our Haul Out we travelled and saw a lot. We sailed from Rhode Island to the Elisabeth Islands in Massachusetts. After a few windy days in Hadley Harbor we continued to Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard where we visited the film set of 'Jaw'. We sailed back west to Blog Island and entered from there the tidal Long Island Sound with stop overs in Fisher Island, Niantic and Milford before we sailed to Cold Spring Harbor to meet our friends. Next stops where made in Port Washington, New York, Atlantic City and Cape May where we enjoyed beautiful days in warm Fall temperatures. We motorsailed through the Delaware Bay to the Chesapeake Bay. We are now since three weeks in Annapolis working on Peter Pan, going sightseeing and enjoying the peace of the cold nights in front of our big heater.

Peter Pan an Land - Haul out

We hauled out on the 17th of July. We are in Norton's Marina in East Greenwich. It's a lot of sanding and then painting... We hope that we will soon be back in the water with a nice finish.

East Greenwich

We spend an awesome 4th of July in Bristol and we are now in East Greenwich, Greenwich Bay. Everything is different, but nice!!! Where in the world is another place where the dockmaster gives you the key of his truck with the words 'have fun' and the explanation how to find the next mall???

Newport, Rhode Island - USA

We arrived on the 25th of June in Newport. We sailed from Bermuda to Newport in seven days, because of the lack of wind... all sound and safe!

Bermuda

We are since the 3rd of June in Bermuda. It is a beautiful place to walk around and explore. the people are so friendly, that you feel welcome wherever you go.
We ordered a spare part wich we were waiting for. We are heading to the States as soon as the weatherforecast is good for us. We will see when.

Antigua 2013

We wish you all an exciting, a happy and healthy new year!
We are back in Antigua since 4 weeks. We left Peter Pan for the hurricane season in the mangroves and she looked good when we came back and pulled her out of there. Now we anchored in Fanlmouth Harbour off Pigeon Beach.
...what we are wondering.... where Mr Google put our photos??? There is an 'error' in our foto galery and they say we should 'remove' the gadget. So, are our photos lost in the Nirvana of the worl wide web???? If there is anybody out there who find them, I appreciate it when we get them back! Thanks for searching :)
